Hey I just read your post about quick detox with subs.. I am doing a deox off roxycodone and I took one 8mg in 1/2 in the am and one 1/2 at night and i just felt really anxious and cant sleep. Im on day 2 and i only took a half and I felt fine so far but I still cant sleep. I heard this is bc subs build up in your system and I dont want to have a bad wd from subs. My doc gave me them bc i was on 30mg roxis for a bad accident that i had surg's from... and I did not want to get addicted to them so I stopped and started to WD horribly. I am not addicted to them but I was on them for a long period of time so I would experience WRAB...my doc just wants me to get through the WD period and does not want to replace one pill for another...how did you get through your detox so fast, im curious. thanks -Larissa.

Hi, I would love to know what you did. I am off of suboxone, I have been tapering for approx. 3 months down to 1 - 2mg per day and after weeks down to 1/2 and after weeks down to 1/4 and even eventually eights and this is day four for me off of them and I still feel dreadful, upset stomach, insomnia like you wouldn't believe. I was on arabien for 7 years. I was put on them by a sleep clinic that told me that I wouldn't get addicted that I could take them for the rest of my life, ha ha, yeah sure just like my doctor who had me on Vicodin for several years, Xanax, Arabien, Oxycodone and said I would get addicted. I have very bad neck issues and had a cervical fusion and dysectomy with titanium pins and plates and afterwarRAB was put on percocet and morphine for the pain. The operation was "not" a success and I woke up with the same amount of pain as ever and kept on taking the pills until I checked myself into a withdrawl clinic. I have been clean of all the opiates since the middle of deceraber and now just went off the suboxone. Please tell me how you got through it, I am desperate. I have the chills, feverish, can't sleep at all, diarrahea, feel like I am going to jump out of my skin. Please help someone. Thanks Lyn in Michigan.

I am sorry I don't have any idea however, I would like to suggest you make a plan with the Dr. who prescribed them to you... That way it's safe and done slowly!

Welcome and hang around.. The more the merrier.........

Hi, sorry I should have read my letter over before I sent it. Sorry, my doctor told me after putting me on all of this medication that I "wouldn't" get addicted. In my first letter I said he told me I would get addicted. Sorry I am so aggitated that I can't even read my letters over. I was also put on "Dilotid" once by a facial specialist as he says I have "TMJ". Sorry there are probably more mistakes, I will check next time. Thanks again Lyn in Michigan

Hi Telly, I am on day 4 or 5 off of suboxone and am feeling absolutely horrible still. I don't really want to tell you that because it doesn't make you feel any better. I feel jittery and anxious and short tempered and don't know what to do with myself. I am sure you are feeling the same way. The worst part of all is not sleeping. I think I have had about 4 hrs. sleep if that in 4 days. I have been babysitting my 5 month old granRABon today and usually when his Mom or Dad picks him up I go and lay down for about an hour. I would be afraid to try right now as if I happened to dose off, which I am fairly certain I won't then I won't sleep a wink tonight. I have done nothing but toss and turn and toss and turn all night and my poor husband isn't getting any sleep at all. He has been on vacation for about 3 weeks and now he has to catch up on his sleep to go back to work on Monday and he is worried about me also so he has been sleeping on the couch so he doesn't disturb me. I have been laying there punching the bed, punching my restless legs etc. What symptoms are you having right now. Take care Lyn in Michigan.

Hey

I just thought you might like to know that I am day two of suboxene detox myself..My Dr. gave me really low doses just once a day and I am still feeling really sick at night. How about you?

Telly1

how long have u been takin them? i took them for 6 days to dt from vics im am now on day 10 from vics and 4 from subs. let me know i can tell u what i did ,maybe that will help u.....................newlife

I was taking a very high dosage of oxycontin and initially tried to detox by myself but that certainly did not work....My Dr. prescribed me Subutex and then switched me to suboxen.. have been taking them for like 4 days and still feel pretty bad..I am also scared that if they up my dose of subs that I'll will have an even worse detox at the end. What did you do to help. My anxiety levels are through the roof and I can't sleep.Sorry to let it all out but I am staying with my parents in the English countryside right now and have no one to talk to. I just moved back from Pittsburgh to get off the PK's.Hope this finRAB you feeling better.

Telly, I am not sure I know completely how to answer people and use the boarRAB correctly. I just wanted to know how you are doing know off of the suboxone. I am now on day 6 and have not slept much at all and feel absolutely terrible still. I feel sooo exhausted, tired, anxious, depressed and jittery. I was on suboxone for approx. 4 months and with my doctor's help weaned down from 1 pill low dosage to 1/2 pill a few weeks later and then a quarter and then even went down to an eighth. I never ever thought I would feel like this after going off of a little crurab. It is definitely worse than in detox going off of opiates. The docs are there to give your more drugs to keep your mind off of your withdrawl and by making you go to meetings constantly. I still feel horrible. How are you and everyone else that is now in suboxone withdrawl doing. This all should have been told to us that going off of sub is hell!!!!! Take care everyone, I am thinking about you all. Lyn in Michigan

Oscar3. If I might ask a personal question, why has your doctor had you on subs for 3 years. That seems like an awful long time. Has he ever talked to you about lowering your dose or going off of it. Take care Lyn in Michigan

Lyn,

It sounRAB as if you are suffering so badly! I am so sorry to hear that! I remeraber the restless legs and the not sleeping.. I swear it about drove me half mad.... I remeraber kicking my legs in bed so hard out of frusterations and punching the bed too... My husband as well decided to hit the couch and i didn't blame him one bit.

I was never on sub so I don't have any advice for you there but I want to say I remeraber one person doing the same as you and it took until about day 10 or so for them to feel a lot better.. I am sure that is not great news to your ears and I may be talking out of turn but I really do feel for you.. I never want to go thru w/d again... I don't know how i made it thru them last time... So just know.. you are in my thoughts.. I pray for your strength and your sleep as I know how badly you need it. When I was w/d I did a rapid taper program which was WAY to rapid in my opinion.. anyways.. I had to work while w/ding and I thought well... "this should teach me a lesson!" It did! Going to work with not sleeping a wink was so miserable I can't even discribe it in good enough detail! Just know.. some day in the near future you are going to be free and happy!!

Keep posting!! I am here for you!
