Long story short, as of last Friday I’ve been secretly into a senior in my class for three months now. He’s the very first guy I’ve ever liked this long, especially without letting him know. (Normally, I would’ve either moved on or “bit the bullet” and let him know after a month.)
He’s also the first guy who’s had me doing nothing but smile for all the days I’ve liked him. (All my life, I’ve cried myself to sleep over a guy.) My best friend suggested I tell him how I feel on the 100th day that I like him, which is on the 4th of December. (Yes, I keep track.)
At first, I was reluctant to go through with it but I eventually warmed up to the idea...until last Friday, my cousin—who’s much closer to my crush than I am, despite knowing him longer—told me that my crush already has a girlfriend. This, of course, made me feel like a little kid who just found out that Santa Claus wasn’t real. Now I’m just kind of beating myself up about not being able to let him know sooner.
So basically, I need songs about being too late in telling someone you like them. Preferably from a girl’s point of view, but I don’t really mind songs from a guy’s point of view. Mostly I like Pop, R&B, and Country...but I'm open to almost anything...EXCEPT Rap.
