Details In Some Episodes Of A Show That Aren't In Other Episodes

I was watching "The Simpsons" today when I realized that there was some details that were in some episodes but not in others. For example, one episode has Homer getting tired after climbing the stairs but another episode where he's a bounty hunter, he jumps and does flips without even getting tired. HeHeHe....

Do you have any other examples of this?

Another example is a "Cyberchase" episode where the kids go into space but Digit gives them helmets so they can breathe, but in another episode they go into space without helmets.

A running gag in the Tiny Toon Adventures episode "Buster and Babs Go Hawaiian" shows Buster having an intense aversion to flying, yet in previous episodes such as "Europe in 30 Minutes" and "Who Bopped Bugs Bunny?", Buster is shown riding in planes without incident.

Throughout Challenge of the Superfriends, the Flash has the ability to fly in some episodes but is a grounded speedster in others.

I remember that Simpsons episode: Sex, Pies, and Idiot Scrapes.:p
But yeah, it all this stuff depends on who writes the story. In some episodes, Homer can take a punch and be able-body to fight. In others, he's as weak as a babe.

(I don't know if this is a good example)Another Simpson example is Bart being allergic to shrimp in Please Homer don't Hammer 'em. Whereas in an earlier episode he wasn't.

In the Winnie the Pooh franchise, Tiggers don't like honey. But I remember in one episode, I think "The Great Honey Pot Robbery", Tigger eats honey and doesn't object to it.

In one episode of The Real Ghostbusters, Venkman states that he doesn't know anything about trains, despite the fact that an earlier episode centered his childhood fascination with them.

In an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Yusei says that they are living rent free. However, a few episodes later, Jack and Crow are in an argument on how they are going to pay for the rent.

That might have been an error with the dub, unless they also mentioned that they were living there for free in the Japanese version.

The only thing that I can think of for this topic was when Ash and Brock mentioned that they knew of the Pokeathlons back when they were in Johto during their debut episode. While I'm sure it was done to make reference that Ash and Brock had been to Johto before, considering that the Pokeathlons didn't appear until the remakes came out, it felt kind of weird to add it to the original Johto saga.
