I just started using a new detailing spray. It's made by Harley Davidson, and it's called "Harley Gloss". It goes on really easy and it really details the bike up nicely. I like it because it's rather "watery" and it's easy to use. I use the Yamaha stuff and the Honda stuff, but I think I like this one best. They also claim it's biodegradable. It smells good as well.

I use HD Gloss on my VROD aluminum wheels after they are polished with aluminum polished. It is a good weekly protector for raw aluminum. I use Honda polish as a first step because it is the best cleaner polish for all materials I have seen. It will remove the chain lub off of white sidewall tires with a single wipe.
I will have to check out the Gloss on the Ducati.

I recently learned of a great product for chain grime...Motorex chain cleaner. It dissolves grease on contact yet is gentle enough to use on just about anything. Haven't tried paint but have tried my CF hugger and it came out great. Incidentally they make a couple of chain lubes too.
For paint I use Meguiar's Quick Detailer...it's a nice gentle between-wash toucher upper and removes bugs, grease, etc. It is also what I use to clay my bike in a 5-step paint process. While I'm on the subject, I carnauba my bike as part of that process...but use Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax after every wash. It's more manageable to use often and glosses up the bike and even helmet very nice. Bugs just bounce right off...unless my shield is up, then they fly right in.

The Harley Gloss is especially effective with matte finishes and recommended by Milwaukee for such. Cleans them up well and doesn't turn them shiny.
Would agree with the post that the Honda Spray Cleaner/Polish is one of the finest products around. It even has mind share among those riding H-D.
