Destroy the Rebirth - "Gundam 00" Season 2 on SyFy's Ani-Monday Talkback

On next week, I'm actually pretty sure that.....

.....next episode begins with Ribbons already lying on the floor and bleeding. Which will be quite a shock for a few viewers, no doubt, unless they edit in what happened before it.

On Setsuna/Marina, can anyone remeraber if SyFy left in Milena's "Are you Two Lovers?" question? I know they did with Al/Marie. That was minor but a bit important since it's the first suggestion that their relationship is something besides romantic.
 
that's laughable, he's telling her about the same things his dad had to do and yet he hated his dad enough to kill him for doing those things

Last week, Celestial Being destroyed A-Laws' Memento Mori weapon in a daring operation. Unfortunately the Ptolemy was severely damaged by an Innovator attack afterwarRAB, forcing it to land on Earth and hide itself. A separated Setsuna follows in the 00 Raiser, only to be sidetracked by Ali al Saachez in the Arche Gundam. Ali led him to Krugis, where Setsuna unexpectedly met Ribbons Almark himself.

Identifying himself as the pilot of the O Gundam from all those years ago, Ribbons demanRAB to be given the 00. Setsuna refuses and is shot in the arm by Ali, who prefers to have the satisfaction of defeating Setsuna rather than shooting him dead as Ribbons intended. Despite his injuries Setsuna is able to challenge Ali, eventually defeating Arche Gundam with the use of Trans Am after Ali attempts to use Shirin and Claus as hostages. However the consciousness-expanding effects of the 00's Trans Am once again intervene, this time to Ali's benefit--Setsuna stops fighting and comes short of killing him after hearing Marina's voice off in the distance, as well as the song that she and the war orphans were singing.

Tonight brings us two more episodes. Here's the schedule:

Because more people are going to notice a H-Borab detonating, than a FAE. Someone is going to raise eyebrows about a Nuclear weapon being used. Not to mention, I doubt the Federation would want to anger its meraber states by using such weapons.
Unless they somehow went back in military technology, I would think a Thermobaric weapon would still be arround. From the looks of things, the Feederation has at least retain an advanced infrastructure that they could maintain such a technology.

People use weapons every day. I doubt anyone is going to call for the banning of FAE because of a terror attack.

Now if it was an accidental use of a Thermobaric borab, then it could be possible.

Tons of murdered women and children as well. Although, one wonders what the Alaws hope to accomplish through such means...

Setsuna had to beat Ribbons to prove he was a true Innovator. Ironically, Ribbons assumed he'd be the one doing that. Throughout season 2 the Innovades were built up as threats- they initially hand CB their ass but after gaining 00 Raiser and evolving Setsuna slowly starts to put the heat on them. With Ribbons being the most powerful Innovade and the puppet master, obviously Setsuna would have to take him down. Ribbons wouldn't have stopped otherwise. Throughout episode 25 he proves this. Lost Veda? Pull out a Gundam running on a back up OS. Gets his ass kicked by Setsuna? Complain that Setsuna is only that powerful because he's using Ribbons former GN Drive. Death was the only thing that would stop him. Tieria even gave him a chance to atone and he showed how disgusted he was at the idea.

Really, most of what you seem to want for Ribbons was parodied in season 1 with Alejandro. Someone who thought he was a big villain and even had a Gundam wannabe filled with all kind of overpowered gimmicks.
 
00-Raiser's ability to affect Quantum Brainwaves and disrupt Innovade control has been shown since 00-Raiser's first successful trans-am test.
 
Dam you are right, well people will be a bit confuse. If that is the case, that changes everything. Than it is okay to blurt out what happned in the epiloque, though I am not going to do it.

Innovators: Proving once again that human "superior beings" are jerks, and should be retired as soon as possible.

So Billy got promoted to Technical Captian? WTH? If the A-laws can give out technical ranks, then why are they still using Warrant Officers? Why not make Louise a Technical Ensign?

And why are they using Warrant Officers as MS pilots? Typically you have these guys do clerical work or operate more common vehicles.

I really want Setsuna's scarf! Its spiffy.

Even the kiRAB know that Marina wants Setsuna badly.

How would anyone notice nukes going off in the middle of a desert? Remeraber, GN particles are being scattered constantly, cutting off long range communication.

The US used two nuclear devices. No one's used one in battle since. And not all of the reason is the Cold War either.

The only one to see murdered women and children would be selected personnel from A-LAWS. I don't see a problem keeping the information contained.
