I would get her thyroid checked again...by a reputable and knowledgeable endocrinologist. Most MD's like to only test the TSH & T4 levels, and if one or the other happen to fall within the so-called "normal range", they write it off and conclude that the thyroid is functioning properly...when in fact, it might not be. Make sure they test for antibodies for Hashimoto's and Grave's...have them do a complete thyroid panel that includes TSH, Free T4, Free T3, T3 uptake, & antibodies. Also...has she ever had her B-12/Folate levels tested? As for the digestive issues...I agree with testing for Celiac's disease. Have you also considered Candida? So many of the symptoms you listed that she is having can overlap lots of conditions. What about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? And I'm sorry...I disagree with your comment that Fibromyalgia is not a "real disease". Tell that to the millions of people that have been diagnosed with it and have to live with the condition, every single day!
