Desperate to find this movie - please help!

Hi all

I really want to find one of the first movie versions of "Wind in the Willows". My parents taped it for me when I was really small and ir became one of my all-time favorites. Much to my delight, I came across it about a month ago after years of not seeing it. Lo and behold, it had been recorded over! :mad: :( :rolleyes:

Can anyone help me please in trying to locate another copy? I've searched on Youtube and got scraps of info but the whole movie isn't there.

If you ignore the first few minutes of someone filming themselves, you'll be able to spot bits of the version I mean. It is an animated version (not the one which is perhaps the most famous with a pink Toad and his horse wearing a hat!) and it's apparently only available on VHS, directed by Warner and made sometime in the 1980s! It is the BEST version ever, I got really tired of all the puppet ones etc!

I had a look on Amazon as it is indicated it is there by one of the reviewers, but there are so many different versions and quite a few "blank" images, so I don't want to order one without being absolutely certain it is the right one. Could someone prompt me in the right direction? :)

None of these, I'm afraid :( It is indeed rare! But thank you for trying.

If anyone can remember ever watching it, there is a beautiful song about the wind in the willows at the beginning with piano accompaniment - don't know how much this helps! ;)
 
Thank you!!! It was, indeed, a "blank-image" on Amazon, but with that little prod in the right direction, I found it! :D:)
