Desperate for answers about this weird situation with a girl!!!!!!!?

So I met this girl recently and we live in the same apartment complex. I started talking to her and we've been hanging out recently. Last week we went to a party together, ended up falling asleep over her place and laid down/cuddled. However, she recently has been acting somewhat "mean" and says things about me getting together with my roomate (I am not gay at all). She also gives dirty looks when I laugh at things on movies we watch and she keeps saying I'm fat. I have no clue why she's like this and I don't understand what's going on!
I just dont understand still. We never had sex, just got close, and shes just been acting weird. I'm just gonna stay away from her and see what happens, anything else I should do?
 
she's probably trying (too hard) to give you hints that she doesn't like you as anything more than a friend b/c she thinks you're interested in her. i would suggest you stop hanging out with her for a while so that you don't seem as "needy" or clingy to her. you're probably not, but girls often jump to that conclusion and they'll rant to their friends about how some guy is obsessed with her and how it's sooo annoying. show her that you're not.
