Not sure if you guys and gals already know this, but Ducati now offers wine!

I'm a huge fan of wine, especially one off and rare wines (at least the ones I can afford).

My favorite band's singer (Maynard James Keenan of Tool, A perfect circle, puscifer) has a vineyard in Napa and his wine wears the Caduceus label, and his wine is very hard to grasp because it is made in very limited quantities, so this brightened up my dad beacause its more within reach.

It will retail for 168 euro per case (6 bottles) so it comes out to in the $40s per bottle.

DesmoRosso is offically licensed by Ducati SpA but is not sold by them directly. I sampled it when I was in Italy in June. (I also referenced it elswhere on this site. There's a thread on Aussie wine). I will admit I know little about wine but I liked it. I wanted to bring some home but couldn't find a way. The bottler is looking for a US distributor. If you know someone interested in distributing here in US, have them contact Paolo through www.jpbari.com
