Then I mustn't have spent enough time looking at the article. I singled out what I considered the most conclusive statement of the article, and noticed that it didn't have a citation to back it up.


Well, first of all, the article is not very well cited. Contentious claims such as that one should really be backed up with its own citation.

But yes, the article does of course contain a link to a hoaxers
 
Hi Guys, I am going to hide after saying this but I loved the show!
Maybe it was fake but just the attitude that ANYONE can be a hero and you can do what ever you want to is a good way to live.

Everyone's an expert now! On making TV shows,flight simulators and hypnosis! Posters on here wouldn't be happy until Derren came here and explained every single part of the show;thus ruining the effect.

This seems rubbish so far.

I recently saw someone do an impression of Derren Brown and the voice and mannerisms were so accurate (can't remember who did it though) - I think that's why I'm giggling and can't take it seriously so far. :o
 
Lol - amusingly I asked Ginger Geek for some kind of evidence re stage hypnosis about an hour ago, and he's only just gone offline having been active in the meantime in an 'atheism' thread where he can be found saying things such as:
