Derren Brown Live: Hero at 30,000 feet, C4 10pm

Well your first "professional" is clearly an idiot. A bank robbery is not bigger than an emergency landing, it would also be a lot harder to convincingly fake (mind you the plane scenario wasn't convincing). He also seems to know very little about the acting business, while trying to seem like he has a clue. The second guy even concedes that Matt knew it was fake. How does any of this support your argument?
 
I wasn't expecting anything intelligent from this to be honest after his last couple of shows.

It seems that recently, he's aimed for the mainstream, middle of the road; "it's entertaining, even though it is totally fake" sort of market.

Personally, I don't see the point in Derren if he's going to make totally fake shows, but that's just my opinion obviously.

I judge him on the standard of his early shows which I thought were really intelligent and thought provoking.
 
Well if nothing else this is making me re watch my Derren Brown collection. I shall check this out and report back. Although I have my own concerns about Seance a missing 2.7 seconRAB. I shall try find the video. :)

Basically, you must accept it was a trick or be subject to a tirade of meaningless, thinly veiled insults that have nothing to do with any of the logical points many people have put forward.
 
It was still open around summer last year and trust me, it's a very basic petrol station. The staff would of kept the Texaco shirts and worn them (Notice that's what the guy behind the till was wearing) All they ever had were over priced tissues, sweets and sundries. Once they became a franchise, they even did away with newspapers! A recce would of been undertaken to find a suitable site. An area which has been used for filming purposes by other programmes on many occasions which has a petrol station on a corner plot right next to a police centre (just in case) would of been just right.

Im not about to dig out my copy of Seance just to argue a minor point, I didnt say she was hypnotized,you did ,and I have no idea about the taxi driver, again would have to check. You suddenly present yourslef as authoritaive now? You would have to prove these claims.
I was stating he doesnt use stooges in his stage show-his backstage crew etc. That is the claim I answered.
