what do depots do? what are they used for? what is all the hype about. i here all about it but i dont know what it is. can someone please clarify this for me please.

Yes you would need a data cable. Just get the latest depot patcher that came out and place it in the version of carrier that corresponds with what version depot that you have.

so i would need a depot patcher and depot in order to this. would the current depot 12 and 13 work with the i95cl? what data cables would into a i95cl. ie. v551, v220, v400, etc. in a nut shell would any data cable work?

You would need carrier rss and the depot patcher (i.e. carrier 12 goes with the depot 12 patcher). Look on eBay for condor data cable.
