Dependability of a Dodge Sebring convertible? VW Cabriolet convertible?

I was thinking of getting a car to replace the one I have. I have never had a convertible. I have heard bad things about the cabriolet, mostly good about the Sebring. I was planning on getting one under 75,000 miles. What have been yours and other people’s experiences with these two cars?
 
Dodge has a history of less than average reliability. I'd go for the VW given that's the only two choices. Look harder for a decent convertible. I think if you have the money, find a used BMW 3 series. A Mazda Miata would also be a good choice. It would be more affordable & is well reviewed by the auto critics.
