I want to become a dentist but after 2 years of college, my gpa is in the crapper (2.3 at the moment =\) and i failed one class (differential equations). Being an engineering student is no joke. I had exceptional grades in high school but i've been tripping up on physics (3 semesters) and organic chemistry 1 and 2. I think I can better at orgo for the test now that I don't have the class any more and I can study in a lower-pressure situation. I also think I can bring my gpa up to at least a 2.8 by the end of junior year because I'm finished with physics and orgo, and definitely above a 3 by the time I graduate.
Do you think I can still get into dentistry school? What DAT grades would be best for my situation?
In regards to the math section of the DAT, i think I'll pretty well and I'm not too concerned-got a 740 on the SATs even though I make truly idiotic mistakes. Also got a 750 on my chem SAT IIs. If only my college transcript were remotely close. sigh.
Be honest but gentle please...
