I have a 10 year old Lhasa (she's adorable trust me) and she acts like she's still a pup, running around like a 4 year old on pixie stixs all the time! She grabs her lil "chewy" bone and moans like she's talking to me, daring me to come play with her... sleeps on the back of the sofa like a cat and ALWAYS knows when I feel bad, she snuggles in close and lays her head on my hand so I will rub her.... she's healthy in every way... EXCEPT her teeth.. I've ALWAYS fed her soft chewy food and she hates hard bones.... I can NOT afford the THOUSANDS it would take to get her teeth fixed... does anyone have any alternatives for getting her teeth a bit more healthy... the placque is HORRID on them!
