Democrat Critz beats Republican for Murtha's seat

I expect them to win in districts that voted for McCain if the public sentiment is so against the Democrats.

If they can't even do that, what does that say about their ability to take many new seats in November?
 
Oh yeah, what was I thinking? I forgot that we claim the entire populous of the United States hates the democrats.

Running against pro-gun, pro-life, anti-obamacare democrats is tough.

Moving the democrat party away from Obama and more to the center is a good thing
 
They're called blue dog Democrats, as the Democrats actually allow people of differing views in the party.
 
Not 100% of their races, but I'm "foolish" enough to think they will continue to win more than you think. They've already done so in the past year.
 
But...McCain isn't really conservative, he was only the "better" option at the time. Votes for McCain do not translate into votes for conservatives.

In case you haven't noticed, RINOs around the country are being tossed.
 
No, but considering it was a "special election", the amount of money for advertising and getting "name recognition" isn't going to be as good for challengers. By and large, in the vast majority of special elections, that are vacated by a death, the populace will often stay with the party that was in power, then may change (or may not) parties during the normal election cycle.

I'm not making excuses, that's just how it normally works out.
 
Democrats outnumber Republicans 2-1 in that county so it only makes sense that the (D) won it even if they aren't pleased with Obama. This (D) ran on a pro-Life, pro 2nd amendment agenda everything that liberals are against.
 
Democrats actually allow differing views? Is that why they want internet fairness laws and equality in radio laws? Because they love all the differing views?
