Delilah and Julius: Anyone one heard about it?

I never saw no one mentioning this cartoon before:


Delilah and Julius" follows the adventures of two stylish and savvy teen spies as they travel the globe stopping covert plots for world domination while coping with their own family secrets and complex emotions of love and romance. Armed with a stellar posse and super cool gadgets, their missions are dangerous, nearly impossible and incredibly risky, but that's all in a day's work for Delilah and Julius

I saw an episode and personally i didn't like it. It's the tipical spy cartoon but this time with two spy characters ala Kim Possible that they like each other but never reveal it.

The animation in my opinion is not good and also the stories they have on each episode are boring and one character is really disgusting because he always falls into.......well smells really bad.

I think they wanted to have the same fame as Kim Possible and Totally Spies but really i prefer to watch Kim Possible and Totally Spies more than Delilah and Julius.

So anyone else show this show?
 
I watch it. At first I tought it was boring too, but after a few episodes it grew on me (kinda like Carl2 did :p ). I like that the show isn't affraid of being 'Canadian'. The thing is that you can't take it too seriously since it's basically one parody of James Bond style films after another with villains that the characters are already familiar with but we aren't that have extravagant plots XD

The animation is probably made in Flash but as far as Flash go it's really smooth. I don't think you should blame the 'animation' per se, but the character design and the lack of lines :p

I think it has a different vibe from Totally Spies and Kim Possible.
 
Season 2 is on it's way with new animation and more twists and suspense.
The series found its groove the final three eps and you can expect some characters to leave and others to get bigger roles. Plus a couple of new characters are being introduced to shake up their world.

Production is just starting but the season one stories barely scratched the surface of what is going to be done. It will blow your mind. (maybe not but it's really good.)
 
Geez... Delilah & Julius don't deserve that level of hatred... keep that for Coconut Fred Fruit's Salad Island.

Notherncrowe you talk like someone in the know...you work for the company or what?
 
I work in the industry.

Another show to watch for this fall is Di-Gata Defenders (Aug 5th). It's a fun Anime inspired, action series. It's one of those shows that gets better with every episode.
 
Yeah I'll be looking for that one myself. Looks neat. I know the creator of the show had a forum going for a while and showed his early character designs... but I think it's been mostly dead since they truly began production.

What kind of job do you do in the industry and how did you get there?

Also what did you mean by new animation? They'll use a new program? Personally I think using the same engine as 6Teen could work, but with the current character designs.
 
Delilah and Julius is like the best show ever. Me and my friend watch it all the time. We love the romaceful part of it, the constant flirting, and how Julius gets jealous when Delilah flirts with other guys and vice versa...
I cant wait for the secong season to start
