We had a topic that discussed about deleted scenes that u wished were in the finished product. So why not? Every now and then a film has been written out, but oddly enough there have to be times where certain things get taken out. Sometimes its good, sometimes its bad. So what are scenes that were planned for animated films that you glad didnt make it into the film?

I heard about a deleted scene from Lady and the Tramp where she has a nightmare about the baby. It was supposed to be really trippy similar to Pink Elephants on Parade. Needless to say I am glad they cut it out.

Well, it's wasn't fully animated, but the one of the original drafts for South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut had some story changes I didn't much care for:

- Satan only granting Kenny's wish because he saved up on Snacky Snack coupons.
- Wendy breaking up with Stan because of his enjoyment over Terrence And Phillip or something, it's kinda forced...
- The original songs.

Oh, and while it's live-action, I'm certainly glad that Looney Tunes: Back In Action didn't end up with the combined villainy of Ice-T, Steve Buscemi and Jet Li.

Bambi was going to have scene with a bee accidentally flying into Bambi's mouth and into his stomach, and then trying to get out of there. It sounds just a bit to unrealistic to fit into the movies universe (it would probably have seemed much more at home in a Donald Duck cartoon or something), so i think it was a good thing they didn't include it.

I have never heard of that but thank goodness that was cut out. That would be so out of place in the movie unless the original was going to be more cartoony.

The Aladdin DVD shows several deleted musical numbers. Pretty much all of them were disposable (the worst songs in the movie). Even "Proud of Your Boy" would've been just another "I Want" song, for a movie that already had an "I Want" interlude.
