Im 14 and know the most about comps in my house. we have one computer in the house we've had for almost 2 years (most recent one atleast). I was told in another question of mine its good to delete browsing history and such atleast once a week...ive never done it before.

if i do this what EXACTLY happens? what changes are made?

ive asked advice about my computer before and ended up deleting everything on my comp including pics, docs, itunes, IE, etc. everythingggg. please dont lie :/
Also, what are cookies?

Thank you to anyone who helpes or answers(:

First of all, to do this you need to go to tools and click on clear private data. That's for firefox on a pc at least. It will only affect your web browser. You know when you go to log into facebook or myspace and you begin to type in your email. It comes up in the memory and you can click on it. It will clear all that kind of stuff. As far as the history goes, it will just delete your browsing history and websites you went to.

those will stay deleting histroy is sites uve been to like google yahoo and such
cookies are like bugs it wont do anything to delete those just remove your password from myspace facebook or any other sites you have saved them on :) im 14 2 XD
