delay when answering

I noticed that there is a lag time of 3-5 seconds once a call is answered. It is very annoying thinking that the connection was not made. I called customer care and they told me this is a known problem on blackberrys. I did not have this problem with my 7100. Is this a tmo problem? Or do others experience this?

This is a common problem with the 8100 on the orange uk network. I'm sure it has got something to do with the software the device is running.

I do not have this problem anymore since I upgraded to the new .96 from AT&T. I'm on TMO tho

Tmo .64 software is the version that has the bug. If you would like to i would recommend http://blackberryforums.rabroad.com/28955-yay_new_os_rogers_4_2_a.html . works for me.

I jsut went to the .101 from A1, eventhough I jsut went to .96. Still report this bug is gone.
