defrosting frozen all ready cooked chicken strips?

is it ok to defrost cooked frozen chicken strips in the microwave if they are going to be weighed out and probably not used for one to two days? they would be stored in a walk-in cooler. I say no because some of the meat gets hot and some is still frozen, Can you get sick from this? I can't find a site that mentions this, can find uncooked frozen chicken but not cooked frozen chicken.
 
If they're not going to be used for one to two days, why not just put them in the refrigerator to defrost, until you're ready to use them. I wouldn't use the microwave to defrost them if you're not going to cook them right away. I'm not sure if you would get sick, but it's best not to take chances, especially with chicken.
