Deer are eating my plants?

The deer are eating the plants in my garden-peas, lettuce, beans, beets, and now the corn. I don't want to hurt the little fuzzballs. What can I put or spray on the plants to keep them away?

get a dog . they don t like dogs.
try a can of shave cream or colone and spread it around.
human hair from babber shop

first hang foil strips from brush and trees. Next, you can purchase a sprinkler that is motion activated and scares em off. If you live near a zoo, ask for some lion dung, or wolf dung etc and place that around the yard edges. A good fence at least 6' tall is a must in many rural areas.
good luck

Most people just put up a little fence around it. It doesn't have to be sturdy or anything (unless you've got raccoons or something trying to get in too)..

You might try making a scarecrow and putting human fragrances on it, like deodorant and perfume. That sounds really weird, but I've heard when people go hunting for deer, they can't wear deodorant or anything because the deer will smell it and avoid the area.. I'm not sure how that would work with a garden, but it's worth a try :D

Edit: Another idea... if you buy some deer corn, you might be able to put it in a tin can and rattle it, then sprinkle it around on the ground in another part of your yard (away from the garden).. Do this once a day, and they'll learn that the rattle means food eventually. I did this with my grandpa when I was a kid, but I'm not really sure if it would teach them to come to the feeding place instead of the garden, or if it would just cause more deer to come into your yard.. Haha.
