I have a deep cycle battery that was working great, until one day I was checking the fluid level in it and noticed it was a bit low. Although it was still working fine and giving me power in my camper trailer all night long, once I topped up the battery with distilled water and charged it back up, I immediately started getting 2, maybe 3 hours before it would die, where before I was getting 12 hours and it still had power when I put it back on the charger for the next night, like I have been doing everyday for months. But as soon as I topped it up it drastically reduced performance in a BIG way. Any ideas what could be wrong? Maybe I put too much fluid in? It's an Interstate lead-acid deep cycle battery by the way, in case that helps.
