I really don't get this. You have purchased a bike that to some extent, you have reservations about keeping and now you're talking about mod's like an open clutch, rearsets, levers and powder coated wheels. These mod's aren't going to solve any of the issues you have with the bike.
IMO lower geared sprocket(s) and exhaust are the most important place to start. You have Akro', Termi', Arrow, CW, Leo, Zard etc to choose from and a ceramic coating for the pipes. If $ isn't an issue, IMO the 2010 Termignoni full system would be hard to beat.
Also, buy a service manual to better understand the bike.
If after this you still think the bike doesn't suit your needs then get rid of it before you blow $ on superficial stuff.
These bikes are an open road bike. Riding it from traffic light to traffic light is a pain in the ass.
