Deceptive advertising

Apple advertises that their iPhone comes with a standard 3.5-mm headphone jack.

That's really deceptive advertising. The implication of a standard 3.5-mm headphone jack is that one can use it with all 3.5-mm standard plugs. That's why we have standards.

Apple either needs to change the labeling on the product, or provide users with a converter plug to allow them to use their product with standard 3.5mm plugs...

it does have 3.5 mm plug. the standard has nothing to do with the plastic on the plug, they did screw up in my opinion by making the jack depressed, but its a 3.5 mm jack.
