I've never been good at math (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, etc.) and I worry that I wouldn't survive in the class because my lack thereof.

I really enjoy learning about money and the finance world, I just am afraid my skills could hold me back.

What do you think?

I know, of course, there's a lot of multiplying, dividing, adding, subtracting- what other math would there possibly consist of?

Interest rates. Exponential equations and logs.

Sequences and series.

Finance is not like a math class. You do a small slice of the math world, and you do it a lot. Math class is to expose people to all the math that is out there so they are prepared for whatever they want to do.

Everyone uses some of it, but only math teachers use all.

Just keep your determination up. Who cares if it takes you a little longer to get it. Once you have it, its yours.
