debating on letting my daughter have a myspace...?

i don't see anything bad about it. as long as she's responsible and doesn't add people she doesn't know. She can make her profile private so that only her friends that she knows in real life can see her page. It's pretty safe, not to worry
 
im 14 and i have one. :D
ive had it since 7th grade and now im in 10th.
no one has tried to send me anything, no one has come after me, like all the rumors im sure uve heard.
also if youre scared of people she doesnt know adding her she can set her profile on private making it to where only the people she adds or accepts can view it. and you dont have to give infromation, you can lie. :) it doenst ask for an address i dont think.
pictures can also be private. myspace is just a way to express yourself and keep in touch with your friends. :DD

you should let her have one! its something where she can talk to her friends and express herself without being shy! There aren't many disadvantages about myspace except you may not be able to get her off of it! Just make sure that as long as she is getting her work done in school she can have it! And especially since summer is coming, she will want to keep contact!

you need to be 15, and if she does get one then you need to know her email and pass to get in and monitor her, You should know what kids do online... get a keylogger on her computer that she is going to be using also
