In class we are doing debating, the topic is girls are better than boys and I am the first speaker.

I have a few questions I need answered as soon as possible..
- how do I start the debate? / how do i address the chair person and audience?
- how do I introduce the members of my team? (there are only three people including me.)
- Is there a good way you know to close my speech with strength?
- some good arguments you can think of?
- any advice you'd give me for debating.

I mostly need the first 2 questions answered but if your able to give me more information about debating or if your able to answer the rest of my questions, please help me.

Begin by addressing what you anticipate to be their main point and shooting it down, for example if you think its going to be, say, without us how will the world continue, simply say i believ you will all be thinking this but we can simply use scientists to clone sperm cells and voila, men are obsolite.

Starting with strength and jumping straight into it always works for me.

Bring up points as in, as Polly suggested earlier in our meeting or - as Samantha quite rightly agreed and simply point to them as the argument continues relating them into it somehow.

save the best point to last, one you anticipate them to start on maybe, something that will leave them sounding poor when they stand up there are argue something you've already proven to be stupid.

Yea just try that :)
