im joining the Army very soon and im deciding what one id rather do.I hear good bad about both.Im just looking for more pros and cons for both, thanks for the input
no F!GJAM, not biased, just an idiot

MP you would have something that you could actually use after the military. You would still need some other credentials for law enforcement though. As for Infantry yes you'll have some fun but as for a job after the military good luck. It's not an easy transition. Not to mention depending on what unit you go to will depend on when you deploy. As for getting some college in while active good luck? You'll spend a lot of time in the field.

Infantry vs. MP

The real thing vs. the wannbe
A mutually respected Corps vs. hated by all
Will proudly declare you're a grunt at parties etc. vs. will never admit to being an MP
Being a real soldier vs. hitting real soldiers with speeding fines for doing 43km in a 40 zone because youre bitter and twisted that they get to do what you wish you could

.. but hey, I might be biased.

In the civilian world they look more at your service than your mos. As a grunt, I worked with Iraqi police a whole lot more than MPs in the AO (who didn't at all). Seeing as they stayed on base and handed out speeding tickets or tickets for not wearing seat belts. MP or infnatry, the more important factor is that your responsibility and leadership will transfer to the civilian world.
