Here is the summary of the situation.
My mom's boyfriend paid for a car off my aunt who needed the money to move. The deal was for my MOTHER to pay him, NOT me. 6 months go by and all of a sudden I'm supposed to pay him $2000 out of nowhere. The title was in my name and now a year after the fact, everything started going out. I'm the only one that drives it, put gas in it, etc.. I got sick of having to do repairs and it died so I traded it and paid a little extra for something a lot better. He walked in the house asked who's truck it was and then threw shit, screaming "you bitch", and demanded I pay him $2000 at once and I better do it.
I never signed anything saying I would pay for it. She might have. Could he legally sue me for the money? I am over 18 but was 17 when I got the car.
Ungrateful? Hmm. Im sure CPS would beg to defer. This man charges her $500 a month for "rent" and wont marry her because of that. She has gotten busted for child abuse and left me and my brother with drug addicts and let a woman who was mentally disturbed live in our house. She then allowed the chance for me to be sexually assulted in my own bed when I was 9. My grandmother was my saving grace. Excuse you. I don't work full time weeks and two jobs for nothing. I buy my own things, pay my own insurance, ect.. This man also lies to her saying my baby brother "breaks in his office" and steals anywhere between $10-$200 from his wallet, which is on his person at all times or locked in his truck. He's already been jailed for domestic violence and as soon as I have enough saved-I'm leaving for college which I am paying for along with whatever grants and scholarships I have qualified for. Fuck you.
