debate due next monday extremely hard topic any help?

ok so im in gr 9 and im doing a debate in music class now my topic is really hard and i need ideas and websites that i can check out it wasn't my choice to do this topic so no negative comments and just help me out please ok so i am debating that "music doesn't make you smarter" i am desperately searching for info stating that with a back up so far i have

A,there is no scientific proof that all genres of music will make you smarter and if you do stop listening to music does that mean your IQ will lower?


B, music influences people to do actions that aren't very smart ie drinking, drugs, gangs, suicide, terrorism, sex (depending on age)

C, kids that play and instrument may be pressured and get stressed therefore their grades will slip

any more i can add to that that you know are fact? any website you know? any quotes? anything????

THE teachers dont know anything
2. no it does not because school makes people do these actions
(scapegoat)puting blame on something else for their own benefits

if you know how to play an instrument that means you are smart in the music area
