Debate between me and my boyfriend...please help...girls only!?

My boyfriend and I are having a really childish argument...and we want yahoo answers to try and help us, lol :) He says people fart in front on their best friends or significant other as a way of playing or fooling around....I say you should only fart on people you don't like as a way of a put down or saying...ur worth nothing more than a fart....who's right???
 
none of you or both of you, however you want to think about it. Some guys just like to joke around and I have brothers and they used to do that to eachother ALL the time. I think it would be weird if someone just came up to you and farted in your face... that probably would be more funny then insulting.
