debaffled my 2008 C50T over the weekend

If your on the fence about debaffling because you are not very mechanically inclined or worried about screwing something up, don't let that stop you.

I was very hesitant to try this, but just couldn't stand the stock sound any longer and figured if I didn't like the sound or messed something up, I'd just go after-market.

Well, it was easy using only Lyd's video for a guide and the sound is great. Putting the finishing touches on this evening (high temp flat black spray paint to prevent rust).

I did allot of research on this site and Volusia Riders before I started and I really think this is a good sound that I'll be happy with. Not too loud and plenty deep.

Oh, I did also punch a hole straight up the middle through 2 plates as well. Mickey is intact.

I want to debaffle mine. 2007 C-50. I am so so mechanically inclined. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any negative feedback from anyone. Any ideas to give it some more power. i just bought it. Love it so far.

Thanks

negative feedback? I did it and did not like it at all. I ended up going back to stock pipes i got off of ebay and like those a lot better. I liked the sound it had as you revved it up, but when it was coming down it sounded really hallow.
