Death Surrounds my T5 - Please help! Nothing works...

Ok so last night I was using my beloved PDA (T5) and I turned it off after I was done using the power button.

I then had to add something to my calendar so I went to turn it back on using the power button and it won't come on.

No mater what I do, nothing works. It's dead. I charged it overnight. Tried all the resets possible, and nothing. I tried hooking up to the USB port, Nothing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Well since my last post I've figured out I needed to install the t5 update. Problem is I can't get my palm to turn on to install the update. Is there a force turn on method? Can I reinstall the OS forcibly?

Please help

If the T5 is not responding via any reset method - installing the update won't do any good.

If the T5 does not respond to a hard reset - which is the fix for all fixes - then the device is simply dead. Have a wake for it.....because it's toast.

But before you do be certain that you are performing the hard reset correctly - hold down the power button at the same time as you hit the reset button then release the reset pin continuing to hold down the power button until the screen refreshes and then release the power button and when prompted hit up on the dpad to erase everything. I'd try "no" first just in case a hard reset is not necessary.

But if you can't get to this step - it's dead. I have seen power supplies go bad however so you even though you are "charging" the T5 - you may not actually be doing so and the T5 will go to a non-responsive mode if there isn't enough juice to light the fire. So try someone's Treo or another T5 cable/cradle power supply as a known good unit before tossing the T5 a wake.
