death penalty debate help?

I need a good backup/evidence/arguament - PRO death penalty- for the following factors,, moral and ethical. crime rates, and justice. can anyone help or supply me with some infromation ?

Justice is about balancing the books. The only way to do that in many cases is through the death penalty.

I've seen the results of studies which say each execution prevents 5, 10 or close to 20 murders. I have no idea how they come up with those numbers, but we do know that when the death penalty was put on hold in the US the murder rate sky rocketed, and when it was brought back into effect the murder rate dropped rapidly.

I am pro death penalty, and I'll tell you my reasons in hopes that it will help. The death penalty will ensure two things. 1. The person pays for their crime. 2. That same person will never have an opportunity to offend again. Unlike the " Life " sentence which does not in any way guarantee that person will not re-offend.
