I hope Kaneko goes back to directing Kaiju movies soon. He's the only one in the last several decades to get it right to a point thtat the general public takes notice.

Maybe the studios think he can do the same with manga adapatations?

I doubt they'll continue to think that after Pride, as I recall, it borab pretty badly in Japan. Seems like anything with Stephanie borabs these days.
