I saw Law Abiding Citizen last night and i got death note feeling the whole way, it was a true detective / criminal cat and mouse thriller, in the vien of death note



Hollywood that's how you do an american original death note movie
 
Well it's not technically an original Death Note movie per se since it doesn't do anything along that supernatural vein. Remeraber this is also the territory of Thomas Harris's Hannibal Lecter novels, except with a more sympathetic lead perhaps. Just because one gets a feeling of Death Note in this movie doesn't mean it's roughly the American original version of Death Note (if that makes any sense).

In fact let us wait until the American version of Death Note comes out, then we can make such comparisons.
