yea... iv been bored for a long time now... girlfriends, family, work, school... iono just nothing seems interesting or worth it lately (for long enough to make me want to bitch about it online),

the issue is that that makes the stressful parts of things (lol, again: girlfriend, family, work, school) even more unappealing

anyone else ever get that detached feeling, like they know they shouldnt give a shit and should stop whining, but they are still pissed off

and yea, i realise that a first post is always questionable, but i thought id give it a shot...

Garr! If ye be a noob, then ye should report to the welcome wagon for the mandatory initiation.

Meh. Felt like talking like a pirate for some reason.

Anyways I know the exact feeling you have been having. I've been getting it too lately. Normally I am full of brilliant ideas that keep me occupied, but lately I've been feeling empty and bored as hell. Normally I exercise a lot too, but lately I've been out of my cycle.

So to give you an answer, I would suggest exercise. It gets oxygen to your brain, gets those endorphins (or whatever the hell they are) running, and will make you feel like you accomplished something. Not to mention it will take up time in an otherwise boring and unused day. It has been shown to reduce depression, and I know it usually helps me get out of my ruts. Hope that helps.

A really good thing to do to cure boredom is to go on wikipedia. I don't know why, but I'll look up something I find interesting and find a ton of other stuff embedded within the article. I've gone from an article on the chemical mercubromine to an article on Xerxes, the powerful Persian emperor. You never know what you will find.
