How did you write your book?

Like, how long did it take you, was there a system to it daily for productivity, or did you write spur of the moment? Did you write it all out planning, or did you just go with the flow of your writing?

Please give me some advice, because I keep constantly hitting writing blocks.

I only write when I have a good idea for the next part of the book. I know how the story starts and how the final scene is, but I don't know how the rest goes. I let things develop as I write. It works well for me.
