I'm trying to deal with my outright terror of gallbladder surgery. It's on Wednesday.
I'm 45 years old, have diabetes, and a history of atrial fib. I've been under the knife before. A c-section and a tubal ligation. I woke up from the tubal not knowing where I was and freaking out. It still scares me now and I don't want to go through that again.
The other thing is my other health issues. That scares me, too. I worry my a-fib will return. I'm also frightened of going to sleep and never waking up.
I know this is silly of me. There is no reason to worry when it comes to something as simple as a gallbladder. It's stressing me out and I need to find ways to relax beforehand.
Any advice would be great. Thanks
