Dealer window tinting for my new car seems to be not very dark, I'm concern?

just got my new car yesterday and I asked for the darkest shade form the dealer. But my tinted windows looks even lighter than my 9 year car old car. (when i brought my old car it was already tinted)
1)Has the tinting not been done PROPERLY? should i contact the dealer again?.
2) yesterday was a cloudy day, so I wonder if the tinted windows would look darker when the sun comes out?
3) will your tinted window look darker by the age?
