...in a wreck? I bought a Certified Pre-Owned car earlier this week. When I was going through the manual this afternoon, I found an insurance claim and an estimate from the dealers collision center. This was the dealer that I bought my car from. It had $1,110 worth of damage to the front end, but it looked like it was frame. Anyway, I called them and told them about this, and they are having me meet with them on Monday. Is there anything that I can do? I was not informed of the accident, and it did not show up on CarFax (I found where it had been reported to insurance in the glovebox as well --> Insurance quote from accident). I am happy with the car, but am worried that there could possibly be undetected damage to the engine/parts. Could I ask for a certain amount off the financing? Or possibly get an extended warranty on the parts (certified pre-owned covers 100,000 miles on the power train (engine, transmission, and drive system), and 48,000 miles on everything else). Thanks for your help.
