Has Anyone else seen this wonderful movie. I loved it, every single part of it. I mean the guy had a TV for a head ,you gotta love that. I loved the dialog, the over the top action it was all around one of the best anime's i've ever seen. i made an AMV on it too

I'm not as enamored of it as you sound but I did enjoy it. It is extravagently crude.

The colour palette and style was impressive plus the music isn't half bad either. The story and action is rather more hit and miss for me, it suffers lulls and sections which are just hard to follow or meaningless. (Not that always matters.)

As film to sit down and watch once in a while just because it's rather fun and it's nice to see something that doesn't give a crap about anything.

Extravagantly crude is a great way to put it. If haven't already, you might want to check out Gurren Lagann and Diebuster/Gunbuster 2. Both were directed by the same guy who did Dead Leaves, Hiroyuki Imaishi, and share some of the same frenetic feel, if not the extravagant crudeness. Also nobody with a tv for a head, but there's a battleship with legs in Gurren Lagann.

huh, i thought they kinda felt similar!
interesting to know.
I had Dead Leaves for psp and i liked it.
then i let somebody borrow it and never got it back

oh my god i love the freaky action sequences and the main characters in that movie. its at my top faves even though i only saw the first part of it

Bought it for 5 squiRAB so my final bill woul include free shipping. Yeah **** you amazon and your super limited super saver option.

Totally worth it. Reminded more of the MTV Oddities from the 90's (aeon flux, Maxx, The HEAD ETC) raher than anime anime. If you know what I mean.

Thats not a bad thing btw.

Dead Leaves was thoroughly enjoyable even if it left you scratching your head a certain parts. The death toll was staggering as well. It's great for someone looking for something different.
