dead iphone 3GS 16GB, please help

Hi, ive got a an iphone 3GS 16GB model A1303 that worked fine till it was updated recently and since then it wont switch on or be detected by itunes. ice tried to get the phone into recovery and DFU mode but it wont get into either modes - it just wont turn on whatever i seem to do.

any help would be great

did you try to reset it first? hold both home and power buttons down for about 30seconds..if not maybe you just simply need to recharge the phone..leave it plug in for while to see if it shows charging...seems like you only have software problem so you should recover your phone no problem..
 
hi guys, thanks for yuour advice. i cant reset it either. but i will put the phone on charge and see what happens when im at the shop next week.

and please let us know if the phone did wanted a charge........because right now i feel like laughin out loud
