Yep you guessed it tried to update firmware (from 37 to 42) and sent my e71 to its grave. It no longer turns on at all, it does not even recognize being charged. I was trying to sort the problem of song playlists stoping when the auto key lock kicks in.
I know this question might be low tech to most here, but I could really use some advise.
What are the steps in resurecting a phone that failed to update firmware?
Is this something I am able to fix with just a USB cable to my PC?
Here are some things I have tried:
I have downloaded extracted xbz files from different updater files with smelter into Winswup but Winswup does not find the phone and is not able to turn it on.
Any comments most welcome.
