there is a dead cat in my garden, looks like been mauled by a fox, it's pretty messy, i really can't bring myself to touch it, if i rang rspca would they come and take it away?

its worth a try, but theres a small possibility they will, try asking a neighbour to do it, or put a plastic bag over your hand and shut your eyes....poor cat

maybe its worth putting posters up too, im suer there's a worried cat owner somewhere that doesnt have a clue

Yeh either the RSPCA or your local council will come and remove it for you. Both have the means of disposing of the cat properly and making sure it's not been a dog thats attacked it. If so they can then make people aware theres a dog on the loose!

how sad..try rspca, if they wont come, they might suggest someone..good idea to put notices in the area: at least a worried owner will feel a bit better...

im sorry but that is funni. poor cat tho. ring up the council dont botha wiv the RSPCA.

Your council will do it, just ring up your local council/ or look at their website and i'm sure they can point to 2 the right department. The RSPCA may you will have to ring them to find out.

Try your local council, and say you think it is a health hazard. The RSPCA are only interested in cruelty cases, and will advise the same thing.

Your City Council will - cleansing department. I also saw a dead cat today, very upsetting.
