Just diagnosed with DDD throughout my entire spine...lurabar, thoracic and cervical. I also have a history of discectomy at L5-S1, permanent nerve damage in right leg due to nerve compression. Also have post traumatic fibromyalgia.
My question is this...I have been researching DDD and find it all a little confusing as to what pain it can cause. My entire spine and back hurts (so much that I am on pain meRAB daily) and for the past 2 years we have attributed it to fibro.
For those of you with DDD, what level of pain does it cause you?
Also, these were just regular Xrays, not an MRI. It also shows disc space narrowing at C2-3 and also in the lurabar spine. From my understanding a herniation does not show on regular Xray??? do you think the doctor will order an MRI in those areas?
