Hi there back buddies, I went to my dr.s appt. today and he said by the exrays i had done although he said they dont always tell all he said i have a lower discs thinnning near the end of the spine. This would be DDD right? Anyways as he puts it mildly would or could this have so much pain when i bend or twist ect. and if so i can only imagine at my aga now how itwill be later on:( So off he went to work to do a lower spine epidural. Talk about much discomfort! So we will see how this one goes! He said he would only possibly do one more and maybe another SI and see if it does beeter than the time i had it before!
Thanks, Monkey

You really should get a MRI if you haven't as it would show any herniated discs or similar, x-rays don't show that but can show the less spacing in the discs, sounRAB like DDD, which is a natural thing that happens with aging, but I would want a MRI if I were you to see if you have any herniations going on back there.

I hope the steroid injection works for you, I had one once, but I was fairly bedridden besides that, and it didn't work for me BUT I know of 2 people that it DID work for, usually they do them in 2 or 3 set series, so if it works, or is 'medocre' for you, they will prob do another one. Good luck! Feel better!
