DC Comics to Shut Down CMX Manga

If only that were actually true. As with anime, the only thing we got, mostly, was post 1999 stuff. What we saw was how huge and how much crap the CURRENT market in Japan is. I don't think there are more than 5 pre-2001 manga titles in my local Chapters/Indigo's MASSIVE manga section.

Yeah. Some "history".

I guess it may be time to start picking up "Swan", even though it's far from finished. The way I see it, that title probably stanRAB the best chance of gaining retrospective points among the alternative comic community for its sheer formal innovations, thus driving up the value of the series for collectors of out-of-print comics down the line.

And we didn't even get a balance of those current titles. How many titles from Shonen Jump and Nakayoshi did we get vs. Kodansha Afternoon or Business Jump?

Like I said, they didn't give the fandom any where to go once they cleared college outside a handful of titles the publishers never finished and some one shots. Heck, they barely covered the college demo when I think about it. Everything was high-school aimed or younger.
