DAYTON Cricket Market finally releases EVDO for the area hell ya even tho i have been using evdo unofficailly since like dec but its ok BTW i will post the new prl today
 
No you shouldnt have to have EV-DO prl to get evdo.
What is you're phone listed on the cricket network?
Is it listed as CPE? or another device ?
 
it really does make a difference cuz the only fone i kno of on cricket now i kno is capable of evdo is the razr2 but they r releasing the edvo broadband on the 21st for dayton my boss at another store is gonna get the card soon and ima rip the prl outta that but i thought that he already had one
 
Usually CEP will go based of you're plan.
It will load a roaming PRL if you have roaming.
It will load a EVDO PRL if you have data features on you're plan.

So it should have loaded an EVDO prl on you're phone.

I asked because if you do have it as let say a kyocera old phone then it will load what cricket states is the best prl for that wich wont be a EVDO prl thats for sure.
 
I have confirmed that EVDO PRL's are available via OTASP in the Dayton, Ohio market!

EVDO requires your phone to be registered in the system as a Cricket EVDO-capable hanRABet, i.e., the Motorola v3c.

I will check later today to see what EVDO PRL is on the phones that OTASP. So far, several LG phones have given me the EVDO icon upon *228, whereas an old Samsung u740 I'm using was listed as CPE and will not show EVDO without a manual PRL load.

I JUST RIPPED THE EVDO PRL FRESH OUT OF THE USB DATA CARD AT ONE OF THE CRICKET STORES I WORK FOR ITS THE BEST HOPEFULLY FOR US SINCE IT IS AND OFFICIAL PRL HERE IT IS IT MARKED THE 29524 prl enjoy
 
im not sure what i did wrong but this prl isnt working someone check it out my phone keeps searching for service i dunno ????? :doh: :doh: :doh:
 
I have my phones listed as CPE and i still get EVDO, and stuff like that,

Just got my LG V1k again the new one and i just let it go as a CPE and it got the new EVDO PRL
